I highly recommend vacations

We got home late Friday evening. Twelve days in Los Cabos, Mexico. It was beautiful, as always, but we’re happy to be home with family.

I did a bit of applique, a lot of knitting, read a couple books and soaked up all the sunshine and margaritas I could handle.

Tomorrow it’s back to the day job, and by the end of the week I hope to have the longarm up and running.  It’s been too long, and I have lots of projects that are nearly ready (or waiting) for quilting. Don’t want to waste all this stored solar energy I brought home, and it’ll have to last until Spring.

  1. I hope you warmed up all the way through to the bones. My toes are cold and will be until April. There is something so relaxing about watching the waves! Glad you had a nice vacation!!
