Sunday Stitches 3-11-12
Yesterday’s Seattle Modern Quilt Guild sew-in was so much fun. Attendance was high (including some new faces), and the projects were lovely. Kathy finished piecing a Double Wedding Ring:
Grace was quilting a lovely baby quilt:
Rendy was piecing this little beauty:
And Rosie finished this pretty quilt (love the Echo prints!!):
What did I work on? Besides working on the Hexagon quilt (a story for later in the week), I started my Urban Runner.
The pattern came with the Quick Curve Ruler (by Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful), and it was a great way to practice making the blocks before diving into a full-size quilt. Which, by the way, I will be doing very soon because this project was so much fun!
And what’s up for this week? A baby quilt on the frame now, plus finishing the piecing and quilting on the Hexagon quilt (the auction is in two weeks ~ eek!). Maybe even Ben’s quilt. Finally.
So you know where I’ll be. Have a great week ~ I know I will!
