Busy, happy madness
It’s been whirlwind couple of weeks around here. So many things happening (except blogging, obviously): Krista’s quilt show opening at Island Quilter, a guild general meeting (50 quilters, most for the first time), late nights partying with women packing heat (well, rotary cutters), more baby projects (receiving blankets – check!), 6 small quilts (between Katie and myself) finished on the long arm. Sushi at Mashiko with Ashlee and Jon (birthday dinner, finally!), a weekend sewing retreat (glorious AND productive), dinner with Tim & Nicole (and that baby ready to arrive at any time), and this Friday a last-minute speed trip to Portland and back for the machine quilters conference (insert embarrassing squeals of joy).
There are no signs of it letting up any time soon, but I do think I need to squeeze in a few more posts. Quite honestly, there are times when I can’t remember HOW I spent my time if I don’t have my blog to refer back to.

You have had a great couple weeks. Beautiful quilts and a lot of fun with your friends and family.
Have a great weekend.
